Grow Your Network Marketing Business

Archive for December, 2008

When you hear the words ‘network marketing’ do you feel a pinching sensation?  Do you get uneasy, queasy even?   Are you pervaded by thoughts less than promising and far from favorable?  If so, you should know that that you’re not alone.

However, and despite this ill felt health, you, as well as many others, are unaware that your collective feelings are most presumptuous and based on mere rumors that have been buzzing about for quite some time.

Yet, truth of the matter is that their nuisances, nonsensical jabs meant to hurt you and steer you away from something that could, very likely, make you a fortune in no time at all.

In reality, yes, it’s hard not to be at least a little skeptical as to what network marketing has to offer overall, especially if you’re coming from a past that is thick with prior business failures; network marketing epitomizes a last chance, in a way, for you to reestablish yourself in the field and actually become successful, and prolong your success for however long you see fit.

Yet, again, there is that lingering stigma attached that you can’t quite let go.  But, you should leave it behind, just as you should your other business stints and snafus.  They’re done with.  Yet, you’re not.

Why is this the case?  Simply enough, you are bursting with business potential and, quite honestly, there could be a network marketing business opportunity that’s perfect for you in every respect, and…it could be right under your nose…you just wouldn’t even know it.

And, that’s just the thing – these immaculate and once in a lifetime network marketing opportunities really can’t be sniffed out and discovered on your own.  Rarely are they pinpointed by one entrepreneur or business professional.

The scarce and few optimal network marketing opportunities that are worth pursuing are usually only found thanks to the suggestions of a fellow business partner, a past colleague or current friend.

Just keep in mind that you deserve better than what you’ve been put through.  Yet, to get this, you need to drop skeptical notions to the side.

For you to no longer come up empty handed and with a significantly lighter back account, all you need to do is a bit of research and connect through…well, networking.  Hone in on viable options that will, if not directly connect you to prospects, assist you in finding a niche genre or particular association to assign yourself and your time toward.

Or, lastly, you’ll just have to sit and wait…stay patient for that network marketing business opportunity that arrives either by word of mouth over the phone, in a passerby scenario walking around town or on the Internet.

Like any business decision, you must make a choice keeping best interests in mind.  Although, the catch here is that interests can be one of many things.  Nonetheless, they’re all things that need heavy considering.  Of the factors that are regularly kept in mind by businesswomen and businessmen include: personal business goals, financial abilities and general successes.

In the bracket of network marketing, especially during the phase of selecting top network marketing companies, the same as mentioned above applies.  However, there are certain specifics that should be given some serious thought and then utilized to better ease the narrowing stage along.

Now, it’s best to deliberate from three different angles.  One, think in terms of finances.  Two, consider the company’s product(s).  And three, ponder success.

Financially, analyze your newly found company options from two standpoints – both from positions holding your own wallet as well as the companies of interest.  Look at income levels too; is income provided immediately, or is it gradually accrued?  Will it be lucrative and definitive?  Also, look at the broader fiscal picture; particularly, check into the companies’ situation.

Ask if they’re capitalized and financially able to last, and provide you with earnings and/or commissions that are due to you.  With money in mind, your company should have ample amounts to keep themselves and you going.

On the topic of company products, consider if they are three things: unique, in high demand or flimsy.  Unique products are products that are autonomous, that stand out and don’t fit the mold or conform to other business competition; look for qualities that make the product stand out, not beat out other blatantly similar products.

In addition, make sure the product you choose to focus on fits a need at a fair price, if you plan to retail it to outside consumers, and holds tremendous value to an untapped, quite eager consumer base.  Also, be sure to avoid products with short-term appeal.  Seek long-term products that will be continually used and may even need future replacing; in other words, aim for consumables: dietary supplements, nutritional products, beverages, cleaning products, paper products, etc.

Lastly, ponder success while rummaging through and choosing between all those top network marketing companies.  It’s important to ask a few questions while doing this.  Ask if you’ll have stability in your income.  Inquire if you’ll have room to grow in your selected company.  And most importantly, ask yourself if you’re having fun with what you’re doing.  All these questions need to be asked because, simply enough…if you’re not making money, are left stagnant with little to no room to grow and aren’t enjoying your business then…you need to ask, “am I really being successful here?”

It’s no wonder the network marketing industry has such a piss-poor reputation. Almost everyone in this business is out to screw you, and it’s not just limited to the scumbags in the traditional offline network marketing world.

The online “gurus” are almost as bad, with tactics and bad business practices that closely resemble their partners in crime at seminars around the world, with the only difference being that they spew their garbage in electronic form, from Web sites, blogs, forums and e-mail newsletters.

Make no mistake about it, the heads of the motivational organizations around the world, along with all of their cronies, who run seminars and conferences and sell useless CD’s, DVD’s and motivational books in the form of a business tool pyramid, are some of the lowest scum on Earth and are just a step above serial killers and pedophiles in my book.

These cult leaders don’t care who they hurt mentally, emotionally and financially as long as they can make more money. They are some of the greediest, blood-sucking parasites in the world.

But as bad as they are, their online counterparts are almost as corrupt. Millions of people first deal with network marketing the old-fashioned way, by being recuited at a gas station or book store and then going to a home or hotel meeting. Most people will quickly lose interest or belief in these ridiculous business practices, but some will have their interest piqued enough to continue their network marketing pursuits on the Internet.

In pursuit of building a true network marketing home business, many potential distributors will turn to online “gurus” or Internet marketing experts, as they often refer to themselves, in order to build a successful home business. What they don’t realize is that most of the big-time online network marketers are using the same greedy “business-building” tactics, selling useless e-books, expensive Internet marketing kits and instructional DVD’s, monthly Web site and membership fees and shockingly, the same motivational b.s. products that are still being pushed by the old-timers.

You just don’t notice because it’s online and seemingly “automated,” and they’ve effectively created the illusion that their systems are much evolved from the way things were done in the 1970′s and 1980′s. Well, we’re here to tell you that they’re not, but they are out to steal your money and leave you no closer to your goal of financial independence than before.

Here at Pro Network Marketing, we caution you to be very careful of any network marketing advice given on the Internet, especially if it costs money to get it. One obvious exception would be our own company site, which is a completely free source of network marketing information and advice.

One of the few other network marketing online experts that we recommend is Ann Sieg. Ann generally provides good tips for building a network marketing home business on the Internet, and she does offer some quality information for free. While we don’t agree with everything Ann says, such as you can’t build a completely automated business where someone builds a down-line for you, as we do here at Pro Network Marketing, she does offer some worthwhile insights on the network marketing industry.

So be careful of who you trust online, and don’t assume that just because it’s online network marketing, it’s automatically better that traditional offline network marketing.

So, what do network marketing, money games and pyramid schemes have in common?

Absolutely nothing.

Despite popular, and quite unfounded belief, network marketing is legitimate and carries within it a substantial amount of latent possibility and prosperity. And just to clear the air, network marketing is one of the furthest things from being fake, a scam or a pyramid scheme. In actuality, network marketing is an undeniable means to legally make great amounts of money and expand your overall business horizons.

To start, let’s look at what network marketing isn’t.

It’s not a pyramid scheme. Pyramid schemes are basic, just money-making programs with no products involved that rely on fellow (led in) investors which agree to and promise to invest and elongate the chain in expectation to reap the filtrated income benefits, thus making everyone rich “real quick.” More or less, this approach to making money is empty, holds no weight in the true commerce realm and is, quite simply, more so a game than anything else.

Games are for kids though. And kids don’t get involved in network marketing.

Far from tiddlywinks and backgammon types of scheming, any network marketing business is based on complete sincerity and founded on stern business ideals. In fact, all of these business are propelled forward by serious-minded and genuine businesspeople, not by hooligans with a fold out business in their back pockets.

What is network marketing based on?

How about a system that is proven to lead to success. How about a system that is organized and structured with basic, yet dynamic business values.

All it takes is the requirement to work a few dedicated hours each week with each hour passed assisting the building toward exact personal long-term business goals and growth, or the ability to find someone or some company that will take you by the hand and lead you to immense profits, as it will be to their benefit as well.

It’s a give and take industry based on sponsoring that is done in a chain method where each preceding businessperson teaches the next all the ropes, or where one person works from the top and builds depth for his or her down-line. And this leads to growth, particularly compounded growth. What this means is monumental potential, especially for a network marketing business to expand and, ultimately, succeed.

Far from a sham, network marketing is real and ready for adoption. But, are you ready for it? I’d like to think so.
