Simplicity rules in the network marketing industry folks, at least if you want to make a long-term residual income. Leads who come through your system or who are exposed to your network marketing opportunity will be able to put two and two together and figure out that they’ll have to do the same thing to prospect other people if they sign up in your opportunity. If your system is a long, complex, convoluted process that’s difficult to grab a hold of and duplicate, most people are not going to be attracted to it because they won’t be able to see themselves doing it. And that’s they key guys. Other people, prospects if you will, need to be able to see themselves easily duplicating what you’re doing to prospect them. They have to see that the system is easy to use and that people they talk to will be excited to use it as well, just because of its sheer simplicity.

If you’re attracted to this industry, my bet is that you see a way for yourself to develop a walk-away, long-term residual income, meaning your workload will continue to go down as your income continues to go up. Eventually, you should be able to have your business set to virtual auto-pilot as your network is reproducing on its own, but this can only happen if your system is effective and simple enough to attract a large number of people. Your company, your product and your compensation plan are important, and so is your attitude and the way you relate to people, but what’s really the most important aspect of network marketing business success is that you utilize a very simple system that other people can see themselves plugging into and making residual income with.

Duplication is the key word here. Duplicate yourself, help others achieve their financial goals, and you’ll achieve yours many times over. But the key to duplication is simplicity. Well, as of yesterday, the Superbowl is now set. There’s only one game left in America’s most popular sport. It’s the off-season in baseball. Basketball has yet to reach the playoffs in both the pros and college. There’s really not much happening on the entertainment front to speak of. The weather is freezing cold, at least in the northern half of the country, and many people are content to just stay home for the next couple months until the temperature starts to go back up. What I’m trying to say here is that, although we as Americans always have a ton of things that could potentially distract us from what’s really important, there may not be a better time of year to capture people’s attention from now until the end of March.

For home business owners, this is the time to get to work because you will never have a more captive audience of prospects than you do right now. People have less distractions, less excuses and more time to think about their financial situation now than any other time of year. With all of the people who are unemployed, under-employed and just flat-out unhappy with their current job, combined with the cold weather and lack of distractions, it’s prime-time for growing your list of prospects and laying the foundation for the rest of the year in terms of building your network marketing business.

For those that have yet to start their own home based business, I will give it to you straight. Before I do that though, let me ask you a few questions, and be honest with yourself when you answer.

You want to be happy, and in order for that to happen, you are going to need a sufficient amount of money, and the time to enjoy that money and do the things you really want to do on a daily basis, rather than go to work for someone else doing a job that you’re not really passionate about.

So while the conditions might be perfect to start your home business right now, honestly, the conditions are ALWAYS perfect. No matter what time of year it is, no matter what the weather’s like or what kind of sports or entertainment are on TV, if you really want to be successful and make meaningful change, it comes down to desire and making a clear-cut decision to do it right now. In other words, cut the crap and start to open your mind to one of the very few options you have to create financial freedom in your life. If you’ve been wavering, or skeptical, or ignorant of the opportunity that awaits you if you just reached out and grabbed it, then it’s time to WAKE UP! Stop making excuses, and start developing a backbone and making strong DECISIONS. Make the decision to start a home business and to achieve financial independence with that home business. It will be the most fulfilling thing you can do in this life to earn money, and it will buy your life back in terms of free time and lifestyle choices. Continue to sit on the sidelines, or make excuses, or wander off and get caught up in more useless distractions (e.g. TV, entertainment, etc.) and suffer the consequences.

I don’t want to hear any more complaints from people about their lives if they’re not willing to invest in themselves through a home business. Seriously, if you’re not willing to make the decision to change, put forth the time and effort necessary to succeed, and come up with a minuscule amount of start-up capital to turn your life around, then I can’t do anything for you, and no one else can either. You’re hopeless, and you deserve whatever you’re handed in life in terms of finances and lifestyle.

Personally, I am now more resolved than ever to build my network marketing business and to assist others who want to start their own home based business to become profitable and create the life they truly deserve. I’ve made the decision to create a lifestyle for myself, and to help as many people as possible create that awesome lifestyle as well. Between the state of the economy, both nationally and globally, the high unemployment rate, and the recent drastic increase in the amount of people that want to be their own boss and experience personal freedom, among other key trends, the coming year appears to ripe for network marketing business growth.

I’m not saying every company is going to thrive in 2011, and definitely not every individual network marketing business owner, but from what I’ve seen and the way things are headed in the near future, 2011 seems like it could be the biggest year ever for an increase in overall network marketing business ownership and sales profits.
