You’ve got quite a choice in front of you. Anxiously, you sit. The steakhouse chair is comfortable but you’re not. You’re tense and it shows as you grip the menu as if it were a steering wheel to a car that you were sharply careening through traffic in a high-speed chase from the cops. But, then again, you’re not an outlaw. You’re just a hungry human in the mood for a killer steak.
So, your dilemma – you have to choose a steak on the menu. Dun, dun…dun!
Yeah, it’s something to get worked up over. And you’re indecisive here, however, you know that you want top quality. You crave the best steak this place can serve. So you say no to the flank steak, even the delmonico. Then, the top choice appears and reveals itself on the menu – a 22 oz. t-bone. Done deal.
Now, take to mind that the above instance isn’t just what it is…it can be paralleled to being in the business world, especially when prospecting between a few network marketing choices. You want the top network marketing companies, just like you wanted that top quality steak. And, did you settle for less in the steakhouse? You sure didn’t. So, why do it while you’re making a big career move that can bring you a profitable amount of money…
Be smart and choose a USDA type of network marketing company, just like you would a steak.
Let me ask you a question. Do you like to eat? Well, I do too. Here’s a scenario for you, Mr. or Mrs. Eater. If you had to choose between a subpar chicken parm hoagie and an immaculate chicken parm sub from the best pizza shop around…which would you go for? My thoughts exactly.
You want the top notch chicken parm sub. And who wouldn’t?
Now, let’s stop talking about food because I’m getting peckish. Let’s talk business instead. Question posed: if you had the choice to get into franchising to make a great deal of money but had to choose between two franchise types, which would you choose…the top choice or the one at the bottom of the barrel?
It’s a no-brainer. You want the cream of the crop. You want those top network marketing companies, don’t you? It’s O.K. to admit. You want what’s on top. And doesn’t everyone in the business world? You know they do.
That said, don’t pass up a top franchise choice if you’re presented one…it could pass you by. Just make sure you’re truly signing up for a network marketing company that’s worthy of being dubbed the cream of the crop. To do this, do some research and make sure it’s a worthy investment so you can jump right in.
Don’t settle for anything less than the best.
Like any business decision, you must make a choice keeping best interests in mind. Although, the catch here is that interests can be one of many things. Nonetheless, they’re all things that need heavy considering. Of the factors that are regularly kept in mind by businesswomen and businessmen include: personal business goals, financial abilities and general successes.
In the bracket of network marketing, especially during the phase of selecting top network marketing companies, the same as mentioned above applies. However, there are certain specifics that should be given some serious thought and then utilized to better ease the narrowing stage along.
Now, it’s best to deliberate from three different angles. One, think in terms of finances. Two, consider the company’s product(s). And three, ponder success.
Financially, analyze your newly found company options from two standpoints – both from positions holding your own wallet as well as the companies of interest. Look at income levels too; is income provided immediately, or is it gradually accrued? Will it be lucrative and definitive? Also, look at the broader fiscal picture; particularly, check into the companies’ situation.
Ask if they’re capitalized and financially able to last, and provide you with earnings and/or commissions that are due to you. With money in mind, your company should have ample amounts to keep themselves and you going.
On the topic of company products, consider if they are three things: unique, in high demand or flimsy. Unique products are products that are autonomous, that stand out and don’t fit the mold or conform to other business competition; look for qualities that make the product stand out, not beat out other blatantly similar products.
In addition, make sure the product you choose to focus on fits a need at a fair price, if you plan to retail it to outside consumers, and holds tremendous value to an untapped, quite eager consumer base. Also, be sure to avoid products with short-term appeal. Seek long-term products that will be continually used and may even need future replacing; in other words, aim for consumables: dietary supplements, nutritional products, beverages, cleaning products, paper products, etc.
Lastly, ponder success while rummaging through and choosing between all those top network marketing companies. It’s important to ask a few questions while doing this. Ask if you’ll have stability in your income. Inquire if you’ll have room to grow in your selected company. And most importantly, ask yourself if you’re having fun with what you’re doing. All these questions need to be asked because, simply enough…if you’re not making money, are left stagnant with little to no room to grow and aren’t enjoying your business then…you need to ask, “am I really being successful here?”
When you are considering getting into the network marketing industry, you have to decide what you want this business to do for you. If you are looking to make some part-time income, maybe a few hundred dollars per month, then concentrating on retail sales of your company’s products might be the best thing for you. Of course, selling products is easier said than done, and many network marketing companies have products that are priced so highly that it is almost impossible to make a significant income just from selling.
Besides that, most people, including many network marketing distributors, despise sales and have little or no sales skills. Even if a particularly skillful salesman started his or her own network marketing business, devoted all of their spare time to selling products and ignored sponsoring, it would be very unlikely that they could exceed $400 or $500 per month in profits.
But most people get into this business, especially on the Internet, to make a large monthly income and eventually become very wealthy. The only way to do this and create a passive income that comes in month after month without you having to expend a lot of effort, is through sponsoring new distributors into your down-line.
Many in this industry are afraid to say it, but only the truth will be spoken here: Sponsoring is where the real money is at. Not only that, but let’s go a step further. You don’t have to sell products. It’s not a requirement of most network marketing companies, because if it was, they would all be out of business by now. The top network marketing companies realize this fact.
Most network marketing products are priced in another stratosphere and outside consumers would be crazy to buy a great number of products from their local distributor, when they can go to their local grocery store or Wal-Mart for basically the same products at much lower prices. Research shows that 97% of sales in network marketing are from the company to the distributor, and only 3% are from the distributor to outside customers. There is very little money to be made in selling your company’s products. That’s why to really make it big in this industry you need to focus most of your efforts on sponsoring, but not necessarily recruiting.
If you are going to run your network marketing business the old-fashioned way, then you will need to recruit people into your organization, meaning contacting people at malls, gas stations, grocery stores, etc. and casually bring up your network marketing opportunity in the middle of a forced conversation. This is quite simply one of the most ridiculous, foolish, embarrassing activities that a human being can engage in, and it will bring you guaranteed failure in your network marketing business and in your life. People will run away from you when they see you, and they’ll think you’re a creep and a loser.
If you plan on mixing the traditional methods with the new-school way of doing things online with a limited amount of automation, then you are starting to move towards attraction marketing, but you will still be working the phone and ultimately recruiting people into your business, not to mention leaving people on their own to succeed once they do sign up with you, which is almost as foolish as the previous method.
If you really want to make a lot of money in this business, and easy money at that, either build your own Web site and create an opportunity that is completely automated and will build down-lines for everyone, or find an opportunity that already offers that and ride their wave to big monthly profits.
People like to complicate this business and make it more difficult than it really is. For instance, creating useless business training “tools” for your down-line or prospective down-line to buy. The reason for this is greed. This business is very simple and can actually require very little effort to make huge profits. You just have to find the right opportunity. Don’t let others on the Internet and in the traditional offline network marketing world trick you into believing that there is no such thing as “get rich quick” or that there is only one way to do this business: motivational training, selling products, prospecting at retail stores, etc.
Online stacking in network marketing is the wave of the future and it’s here right now. The people that want to jump on board with the easiest form of creating wealth the world has ever seen will benefit for the rest of their lives. Everyone else in this industry will make modest profits or lose money, and continue to wonder what they are doing wrong.
